Labor Day Weekend

We went camping for the first time since Zoe has been born around the Fish Lake area. We figured now was just as good a time as any, especially since she doesn't have much to bring, and she is not very mobile. It was just us and our dogs, Shan was nice enough to let us borrow the Karmabe mobile. The thing is like the Up house in mini size, you can't help but smile. Aside from a blowout 30 min after getting to camp, which Zoe is known for and took up half the wipes I brought, everything went great. We fished, went on a beautiful hike, had tin foil dinners, and hung out at the campfire (my favorite). Zoe was a little out of it the first night, but still slept pretty well, the second night she was fine and slept just like her normal self. That will probably be the only time we camp this year, but we are looking forward to many outings come next summer!

(Apparently I am the only one who smiles in this family :)
We hiked up a mountain to a beautiful open field called "Big Flat"
It was so calm and peaceful, and we were the only ones there.

The dogs were wiped out after swimming and hiking all day.
We had a little shooting contest before we left
Me against Ty and Zoe
It was really close, but then of course they beat me!

On a completely different note, Zoe turned 5 mo just the other day, what the...where does the time go. We have loved every minute with her!

Rice Cereal

So at Zoe's 4 mo appt. her pediatrician said we can now give her rice cereal anytime between now and 6 mo. I was a little hesitant at first, and just wasn't quite ready. Now that she is almost 5 mo, and eye balling everything we are eating, we decided to give it a try. She has always been a good eater, and she still did not fail to disappoint!

Family Pho-tos

Sod Party!

We are so thankful for the Finch A Team (Tyler, Cody, and Shane) who gave their Friday evening to put in our lawn. Oh my goodness, what a difference it makes. Of course we had Team Supervise as well: Me, Zoe, Al, Diane, Emily, Milo, and Milo's cousin Fisher. You may notice we had quite the team of supervisors, but lets face it, we would have just got in the way.

Shane obviously hard at work.

These two cousins had way to much fun. What is it about boys a dirt? Especially a big pile? Then when they found the hose, turned it into mud. They were both covered but so fun and cute.

 Big muscles!

 What a cute boy!
Zoe got way to comfortable with Grandma

It turned out to be pretty fun with most of the Finch family over. We pay in ice cream and pizza by the way!

Water Baby!

We took Zoe swimming for the first time after finally finding a suit that would fit a 3 mo old, and it was so much fun! She loves splashing in the the tub, so I figured she would do good in the pool. Luckily the water was a good temp and not to cold. I think she enjoyed herself, she never cried, but did have a little unsure look on her face the whole time. I was hoping she would laugh and splash more than she did, but it was still so fun. We took this inflatable duck with us that is actually a bath tub, but it worked great! We look forward to spending a lot more time with her in the pool.

KarmaBe Cousins/3 mo

Shannon was nice enough to take the time out of her busy schedule while she was in Utah for a short time to take some photos of Zoe and Cambri together. Of course they turned out so cute and fun, I have so many favorites, here are a few, and by few, I really mean many.

This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason
They both were obviously not fans of this spot!

Ty calls these two Olive Oil and Popeye, pretty obvious who is who!
Love the contrast of colors in this one

We  did a few more in her blessing dress

Zoe is also turned 3 mo old yesterday. I can't believe the fun little person that she has turned into! Here are a few things that she likes and does now.
-Her tummy times are longer, she doesn't fuss as much, and she is getting really strong.

-She has rolled over a few times from her tummy to her back, I think these have just been accidents really, but still!
-She is recognizing more people and things around her.

Aunt Ruth was playing with her and put her glasses on her, we all had a good chuckle for the second she had them on.

-She is super smiley, and if you're lucky you can get a cute little chuckle out of her.
-She likes her bumbo, except for when I try and get her out, her chubby legs always get stuck!

-She sleeps 8 hrs most nights, ahhhh! This has been very nice for me now that I am back working.
-She is such a wiggle worm.
-Tyler is sad about this one, but she doesn't grunt as much anymore, she is making other types of noises.
-She loves walks, jogs, and just being outside.

Beanies for June walks...ya.

Tyler has been working hard on the yard with leveling it out, and getting the sprinklers. We are almost ready for top soil and sod, so excited to have grass soon!
