KarmaBe Cousins/3 mo

Shannon was nice enough to take the time out of her busy schedule while she was in Utah for a short time to take some photos of Zoe and Cambri together. Of course they turned out so cute and fun, I have so many favorites, here are a few, and by few, I really mean many.

This reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason
They both were obviously not fans of this spot!

Ty calls these two Olive Oil and Popeye, pretty obvious who is who!
Love the contrast of colors in this one

We  did a few more in her blessing dress

Zoe is also turned 3 mo old yesterday. I can't believe the fun little person that she has turned into! Here are a few things that she likes and does now.
-Her tummy times are longer, she doesn't fuss as much, and she is getting really strong.

-She has rolled over a few times from her tummy to her back, I think these have just been accidents really, but still!
-She is recognizing more people and things around her.

Aunt Ruth was playing with her and put her glasses on her, we all had a good chuckle for the second she had them on.

-She is super smiley, and if you're lucky you can get a cute little chuckle out of her.
-She likes her bumbo, except for when I try and get her out, her chubby legs always get stuck!

-She sleeps 8 hrs most nights, ahhhh! This has been very nice for me now that I am back working.
-She is such a wiggle worm.
-Tyler is sad about this one, but she doesn't grunt as much anymore, she is making other types of noises.
-She loves walks, jogs, and just being outside.

Beanies for June walks...ya.

Tyler has been working hard on the yard with leveling it out, and getting the sprinklers. We are almost ready for top soil and sod, so excited to have grass soon!

Zoe's Blessing

This past Sunday Tyler gave Zoe her baby blessing. We decided to do it at home just with family, which I am so glad we did! We haven't been in our new ward too long, and it is huge. Tons of kids, lots of baby blessings. I knew we would be more comfortable at home with people that actually know us:) Tyler had been thinking about it for the past 2 wks or so, and I knew that it was really important to him. I knew he would do a good job, but was still so proud of him. He loves our little girl so much, and was so emotional. Everything he said was so sweet. I know he spoke from the heart and was listening to the spirit. Right before he blessed her, the Bishop gave him some really good advice, just to talk to her. I loved that, so simple, no pressure. I am so blessed with the people in my life, especially Tyler our little angel which has changed our lives forever for the better!

I love this one so much!

I can't help but laugh at her face in the pic!

 Zoe's cousin Cambri

I may have gone a little overboard with the pics, but it was such a special day, she has so many people that love her.

2 mo Old

I can't believe our little Zoe bug is 2 mo old today! Time has gone by so fast, and she is growing so big. She now weighs 11 lbs 3 oz (what a chunk) and is 22 in long. She is basically a healthy 50th percentile baby according to all her measurements. Zoe has changed in her personality as well. She has multiple times throughout the day where she is just super smiley. She is so fun and full of energy. She is so strong and has already got her nickname "The Bullet" from my mom. We have started doing some tummy time with her, and she likes it on a boppy pillow, but not too much on the floor yet. She loves her activity gym, and bath time once she is in there splashin' around. She responds a lot to our voices and objects. She loves to stare at the ceiling fans. We have one in our family room and bedroom and they both have lights, I swear she could stare at the things for hours. When did we lose the ability to be entertained by such simplicity?! Now that she is 2 mo, the saddest part is back to work for me :( Luckily she will be watched by people that love her very much!

Tyler always loads her up with all her toys!
Cuddle Time
 Tummy Time
 Getting outside...finally

Love this girl, so happy!

Finally got a few of her today fresh out of the bath and smiley. I love her right out of the bath, there is nothing better than a clean, naked baby! This soft little dog blanket she got from her aunt Arian. (Ty's sister) So cute!

Say Cheese :)

Lately I have really been trying to get some pics of Zoe smiling. It is pretty hard, it is like she knows and won't do it when I have a camera near by. Here is the closest I have got, plus a few other cute faces she pulls.

A Day of First's

Sunday was my first mother's day, my first run after having Zoe, and her first month birthday.

My first mother's day was great. For the first part of the morning, all 3 of us just hung out being lazy in bed. I was lucky enough to get Tyler to stay home from turkey hunting, and spend the day with us. He hung out with Zoe, so I could go on a run. I have been feeling really good, and thought I would just go for an easy jog. I will be honest, my body did feel a bit weird. My core felt very loose, I guess is the only word I can think of to explain it. You other mothers out there can probably relate to the feeling. It did feel really good though. I was only able to run up to 28 wks while pregnant, so it had been a while. Running for me is not just exercise, it the best way I can relieve stress, it is very therapeutic, so I was very anxious to get going again.

Tyler made us breakfast later that morning, and then watched Zoe again in the afternoon while I took a nap. We then spent the evening with other great mothers, my mother-in-law Diane, Grandma Bell on Tyler's side, Tyler's aunt Josie, and sister-in-law Emily. My mom and dad were in Phoenix, we had a little celebration for her on Friday before they left.

Sunday Zoe also turned 1 month old, and I can't even believe it! She has already changed so much, and time has just flown by. I can't believe how amazing it is to be a mom, nothing like I ever imaged. I have even more respect for moms now that I am one. It is hard, but the most rewarding thing ever. I truly know the feeling of unconditional love. I have loved watching Tyler turn into a dad. He comes home from work, and all he wants to do is hold and hang out with his girl. I am so lucky and feel so blessed to have this girl in my life, and can't imagine it without her.

I love watching her sleep. She has so many expressions, and noises it just melts my heart! I love that she sleeps just like me, all spread out, and arms up. I love her so much!

Daddy Daughter Date!

Tyler and Zoe had their first night home alone the other night. I had a reception to go to, and then dinner with Shan and Alli before Shan left to Cali again for the summer. I left him with a bottle and all instructions, I was only going to be gone for a few hours so he wouldn't have to do much. Well not too long after I left, she must have known her dad was watching her, because she totally exploded in her pants! Really wanting to test her dad. Of course I have all her clothes organized in size and what not, but Tyler doesn't know this, and I didn't think to leave out a change of clothes. So he went to her closet and grabbed something he thought was cute. This is what he chose. It's about 3 sizes too big, but she still looked cute in it! Tyler is such a good dad, I have loved watching him with her, and he has been so helpful to me. She loves her dad so much, and I am sure they both will be looking forward to their next date!
